Our Founder and President

Dr. Loren Cunningham

Loren Cunningham and his wife Darlene are the founders of Youth With A Mission, which now has training or operating centers in over 150 nations. Along with Dr. Howard V. Malmstadt, Loren also co-founded the University of the Nations International. He currently serves as president of the U of N Kona campus and chairs the Kona Council and the Board of Trustees. He is widely regarded as one of the most prominent missions leaders in the world.

Kona Council

This group represents the spiritual eldership of the campus, seeking God for corporate strategies, confirming appointments, overseeing campus development and deciding major legal, financial or moral issues. From this council comes an Executive Team that has authority to make more immediate decisions when necessary.

The Training Team

This group represents the leadership of the DTS team and upper-level schools and meets regularly to decide academic policy issues.
